LIGHT CONVERSION is joining the SPIE community

The company is becoming a member of SPIE – an international organization for optics and science.

Being part of the SPIE society provides opportunities to expand networking with like-minded professionals, the best scientists, and engineers in the field, and connect with the latest news and recourses all around the world.

„We have been exhibiting regularly and becoming a SPIE member is a natural continuation of our involvement. Joining the community is a great way to keep our finger on the pulse of how the optics and science industries are growing and changing, and stay on top of emerging trends”, – says Martynas Barkauskas, CEO of LIGHT CONVERSION.

About the SPIE organization

SPIE is the international society for optics and photonics, an educational not-for-profit organization founded in 1955 to advance light-based science, engineering, and technology. The Society serves more than 258,000 constituents from 184 countries, offering conferences and their published proceedings, continuing education, books, journals, and the SPIE Digital Library.

In 2020, SPIE provided over $5.8 million in community support including scholarships and awards, outreach and advocacy programs, travel grants, public policy, and educational resources.
